    Game changer for our baby with a sensitive tummy - she has a lot less gas and is much less bloated (meaning her umbilical hernia is also causing her less discomfort). Definitely worth a try!

    Great supplement option for breastfed babies

    My daughter was exclusively BF until 3 months old, however, her weight gain was a concern (only 38%-tile at 3 mo check while born at whooping 80%tile) and she was always fussy/acting hungry even after nursing for an hour. The evening routine of going to bed would take 2-3 hours of nursing and rocking for weeks. Then I decided to add 1-2 oz of formula to pump breastmilk for evening feeding. I bought one can and was cautious to try. Eventually, I mixed 4 oz of BM and 2 oz of formula. I cannot describe how happily she gobbled that bottle, made all kinds of happy noises, and fell asleep hard!

    We observed her overnight for fuzziness, unusual bowel movement, and extra crying but she showed no signs of being in distress. We continued adding formula for the night feeding eventually growing to a 50x50 proportion and we noticed significant weight gain on the next doctor's appointment. The pediatrician was very happy with the progress and advised continue with the supplement.

    Right now my daughter is 5 mo, thriving and we are very pleased. I continue to supplement at 50% BM to 50% F during the day and 100% BM at night.

    She is our 4th baby, so we have seen a thing or two and I exclusively BFed the first 3 of my kids, but this was the first time when my breastfed baby was struggling to gain weight. For people who think I might not have enough supply - I am easily pumping total 15 oz each session, there is plenty of BM just not enough fat I guess.
