Jovie Brand History

Jovie is a relatively new brand to join the European baby formula market. Started in  2018, Jovie was conceptualized by a team of baby formula experts with a history in the goat milk infant formula industry.  

A crucial part of the now Jovie formula team started the Netherlands brand Kabrita baby formulas and made a successful introduction to the goat milk formula scene. Shortly after, the now Jovie team left the Kabrita brand and started their own company to develop "the next level goat" - Jovie baby formulas. Jovie was even the first Dutch company to make goat milk-based infant formula.

The Jovie team genuinely desires to bring pure, organic, and whole cream goat milk filled with all the essential vitamins and minerals without palm oil, soy, or maltodextrin.

Full-Fat Goat Milk

Infants should receive about half their caloric intake from fat. Jovie Organic goat milk formulas are carefully formulated using full-fat goat milk as its no. 1 ingredient, using all its inherent benefits. 

Natural goat milk’s richness removes the need to add elements such as palm oil or maltodextrin.  

Palm Oil, Coconut Oil, and Maltodextrin Free 

Jovie always look for the best organic ingredients with negligible environmental impact. With this in mind, Jovie uses full milk fat, leaving out possible eco worries such as palm oil and coconut oil.

In addition, Jovie opts for lactose instead of maltodextrin because this carbohydrate is naturally present in milk. 

Natural Prebiotic

GOS is an essential dietary prebiotic class that benefits intestinal microbiota and gut barrier function.

Jovie Organic goat milk formula is enriched with organic GOS fibers to support digestion and fight inflammation. 

DHA & AA 

Jovie Organic goat milk formula is enriched with AA, differentiating it from other organic recipes. 

AA (arachidonic acid) is an unsaturated omega-6 fatty acid present in Jovie Organic Goat infant milk, follow-on milk, and DHA (docosahexaenoic acid), an unsaturated omega-3 fatty acid.  Unsaturated fatty acids contribute to normal brain function and vision development in children.

Jovie Infant Formula

• Breast Milk is the gold standard for infant nutrition, and this stage of Jovie Goat infant milk mimics the nutrients as closely as possible.

Stage 1 is for 0-6-month-old babies. Crucial for the first days of life, Jovie goat stage 1 contains high-quality organic ingredients, including whole goat milk as the primary source of carbohydrates, along with vital vitamins and nutrients.

Jovie Follow-on Formula

• The perfect compliment to food exploration for babies six months and older. This stage is ready to meet the needs of your busy older infant. 

Stage 2 adds iron in ferrous sulfate, which shows high bioavailability and has less fat than Stage 1, about 3% less. This follow-on formula also has 8% more protein than Jovie infants formula. 

Jovie Toddler Formula

• Toddlers are active, and this formula stage provides the extra nutritional boost they need as they continue to incorporate new solid foods into a growing diet.

Stage 3 adds more prebiotics than Jovie goat Stage 1 and reduces the fat content by about 6% relative to Stage 2.

This stage drops arachidonic acid (AA, an Omega-6) and several amino acids (l-choline bitartrate, l-cystine, l-tryptophan, to complement a solid diet.

This toddler formula dramatically increases the protein content by about 57% relative to Stage 2. A higher protein-to-fat and protein-to-carbohydrate ratio is perfect for this stage of growth and development.

A2 Milk 

Goats produce natural A2 milk. The most significant benefit is the many short and medium-chain triglycerides that help infants better digest and absorb milk fats. 

The unique protein structure allows for faster digestion than cow's milk. Goat milk formula also contains milk proteins that form smaller, softer, and looser curds in the belly, making it easier for smaller stomachs to digest. The proteins in Jovie formula are particularly beneficial for sensitive digestive systems.
