Always wash and dry hands before preparing baby’s meal. Wash and sterilize all bottles, nipples, and caps by boiling them for 3 to 5 minutes.

Boil water to 212 degrees Fahrenheit ( 50 degrees C). Pour half of the water into a bottle for an individual serving.

Fill the scoop and level (with the back of a clean knife). Only the enclosed scoop should be used. Add the entire quantity of milk powder indicated on the table to the water.

Shake thoroughly, add the rest of the water, and shake again. Allow cooling to 98.6 degrees Fahrenheit ( 37 degrees C) before feeding.

Important Feeding Information

Each baby formula uses different mixing proportions. Only use the scoop that is included in your formula.

Only add water and scoops at the ratios intended by the manufacturer. Do not supplement the milk feeds with any additional ingredients.

Do not prepare feeds in advance. In order to maintain maximum nutritional value, use the feeds immediately and dispose of any leftovers feed.

Once prepared, feed should be used within 2 hours if stored at room temperature. Bottles cooled with a cold ice pack should be used within 4 hours. Refrigerated bottles may be used for up to 24 hours.

Microwaves heat unevenly! Do not microwave prepared feeds as heat spots may occur.

Once opened, formula should be used within 21 days. Any unopened formula should not be used after the expiration date printed by the manufacturer on the box.

How much HiPP Comfort should you buy?
The amount of formula your family will need is based on the assumption that this is the primary source of nutrition within your baby's diet.
On average, a typical baby uses 5.5 boxes of HiPP Comfort per month when fed using HiPP's feeding instructions.
If you supplement with breast milk or solid foods, individual needs/ calculations may differ. Always follow your pediatrician’s advice for unique feeding instructions.
