Aptamil Profutura Stage 2 (DUOADVANCE) is a premium German follow-on formula for babies from 6 months, designed to complement a varied diet as solid foods are introduced.
It continues the Profutura recipe with 2'-fucosyllactose (2'-FL), a human milk oligosaccharide (HMO), and a GOS/FOS prebiotic fibre blend to support a healthy gut.
The fat blend combines milk fat with sunflower, soybean, coconut and rapeseed oils and contains no palm oil. DHA (omega-3) supports normal brain and eye development.
Iron, vitamin D and calcium support your baby's growth during this busy stage, alongside all the other vitamins and minerals required by EU follow-on formula law.
Profutura Stage 2 is lactose-based and free of maltodextrin and starch.

How much Aptamil Profutura Stage 2 should you buy?
The amount of formula your family will need is based on the assumption that this is the primary source of nutrition within your baby's diet.
Once solid foods are introduced, most babies drink two to three bottles of follow-on formula a day, which typically works out to about three to four tins of Aptamil Profutura Stage 2 per month.
If you supplement with breast milk or solid foods, individual needs/ calculations may differ. Always follow your pediatrician’s advice for unique feeding instructions.

- Always wash and dry hands before preparing baby's meal. Clean and sterilize all bottles, nipples, and caps by boiling them for 3 to 5 minutes.
- Boil fresh drinking water and let it cool to a maximum of 104°F (40°C). Pour about two-thirds of the water needed into the sterilized bottle.
- Fill the enclosed scoop and level it with the built-in leveler. Only the enclosed scoop should be used. Add the number of scoops shown in the feeding table to the water.
- Close the bottle and shake vertically for about 10 seconds, add the rest of the water, and shake again. Check that the formula has cooled to 98.6°F (37°C) before feeding.
