Aptamil Profutura PRE (DUOADVANCE) is the premium first milk in Aptamil's German range, developed from more than 50 years of breast milk research.
Like breast milk, Profutura PRE uses lactose as its only carbohydrate. It can be fed on demand from the very first day, as often and as much as your baby wants.
The recipe brings together 2'-fucosyllactose (2'-FL), a human milk oligosaccharide (HMO) also found in breast milk, with a GOS/FOS prebiotic fibre blend to support a healthy gut.
Its fat blend combines milk fat with sunflower, soybean, coconut and rapeseed oils and contains no palm oil. DHA (omega-3) and ARA (omega-6) support normal brain and eye development.
Profutura PRE provides every essential vitamin and mineral required by EU infant nutrition law, including iron, vitamin D and calcium, so it can be used as the sole source of nutrition or alongside breastfeeding.

How much Aptamil Profutura PRE should you buy?
The amount of formula your family will need is based on the assumption that this is the primary source of nutrition within your baby's diet.
On average, a typical exclusively formula-fed baby uses about four to five tins of Aptamil Profutura PRE per month when fed using Aptamil's feeding instructions.
If you supplement with breast milk or solid foods, individual needs/ calculations may differ. Always follow your pediatrician’s advice for unique feeding instructions.

- Always wash and dry hands before preparing baby's meal. Clean and sterilize all bottles, nipples, and caps by boiling them for 3 to 5 minutes.
- Boil fresh drinking water and let it cool to a maximum of 104°F (40°C). Pour about two-thirds of the water needed into the sterilized bottle.
- Fill the enclosed scoop and level it with the built-in leveler. Only the enclosed scoop should be used. Add the number of scoops shown in the feeding table to the water.
- Close the bottle and shake vertically for about 10 seconds, add the rest of the water, and shake again. Check that the formula has cooled to 98.6°F (37°C) before feeding.
